Night Closes

Night closes on me, opening up,
the truth whispers echoes

of the world slipping, falling.

In awkward patience water breaks into pearls,
a loosened knot gleaming

on white stone, waiting.

Fragments, colours and lights
swimming, swelling in the heat

of the sleeping eyes walking.

Folds of the curtain deceiving
as I glimpse an icy moon,

onto the hardened street, shattering.

Thanks for your encouragement:) The fact is I still see flaws after completion.

It is about contradiction right? Supposed to be quiet but it is not because it amplifies sounds. Can improve on the single lines? Good effort! Hee

Hi HB

There is "contradiction" in some lines indeed. Will try to improve:)

Ever thought of writing a book of poems someday?

Hi Shingo T,

Honestly, the answer is yes, but I don't tnink I am good enough at this time, so we'll see how it goes...:)
