I learned about blank verse and iambic pentameter, and that my lines come in four feet, at times three, which make them free verses - no meter, no rhyme, yet with a rhythmic pattern - I like to think. Can't say that I'm not enjoying my writing, though I'd like to write some blank verses too.
Hopefully readers out there if any can learn and appreciate something about poetry together with me, and consequently, write your own. Remember: There is a poet in everyone.
The last point sounds more like a note to self. I too have my doubt.
