For that special someone out there...whatever that means. In other words, I have nothing to blog about, except this song "非常特别的你" which has somehow found a special place in my heart. Perhaps I do have a Singaporean soul in me, looking at how I love the charming lyrics of this song promoting Singapore tourism - and Nikon inadvertently. Pardon me, I know I shouldn't have questioned my soul in the first place.
If you think that I'm trying to redeem myself for failing to express my patriotism on National Day, well, how wrong can you get. For my country of birth, I can almost do anything, like watching the local movie "12 Lotus". Funnily, it turned up to be pretty good, with good, mature direction by our very own Royston Tan: each song sequence seamlessly woven together for a mesmerising tale of hope, loss and love. Alright, I confess, watching "Money Not Enough 2" would be really pushing it.
Then again, We all need a place to call our home. And home is where the heart is...

My homeland, though it has its flaws, can't be more unique in my heart...and that's what matters.
PS: In truth, watching "12 Lotus" was totally unplanned for, having missed out on the tickets for the sold-out Jap movie "Murder of the Inugami Clan". Really, you wouldn't blame me if you had seen the trailer:
