Running, Book and Film

I'm truly exhausted. The sand of time pacified after the mind's whirlwind of the past few days.

I went running on Wednesday, after a week's break due to my swollen ankle, my last before the big one come Sunday. There is a buzz already, no matter how I choose to see it.

Doris Lessing's The Cleft had me in deep thoughts, at other times, a knowing smile glowed on my face. I only wish for more hours in each day to savour each word, each page. I am also running out of time with the library loan due soon.

"Murder of the Inugami Clan" had KL and me in stitches at times, as we bathed in the nostalgic retelling of a classic. The full-bloodied shriek of horror, the red paint thrown against a blank wall as blood signifying murder. Not to forget the old Japanese folk tunes with that distinct twang. Though, my mind was running overtime: who the hell is the cunning murderer?

In between, it was work, work, work, followed by class, class, class. I don't think I have mentioned, how I like the number "3". Running, Book and film.
