Finally, the wait is over - or maybe not. Next year June 07 onwards, I will no longer be a Civil Servant - provided I am still with them. The current management just lost the tender - not once, but twice - on the cost and business strategy fronts. My senior manager had cut short her annual leave to break the news to us; it has to come from her, she claimed. They had shown optimism all along. Well, not all of them.
The sky has cleared and so too my head. Yet, I don’t know what has saved me from self-destruction.
