Fly Me to the Moon

Fly me to the moon

Poets often use many words
To say a simple thing
It takes thought and time and rhyme
To make a poem sing

With music and words
I’ve been playing
For you I have written a song
To be sure that you’ll know what I am saying
I’ll translate as I go along

Fly me to the moon
And let me play among the stars
Let me see what spring is like on Jupiter and Mar
In other words: Hold my hands!
In other words: Darling kiss me!

Fill my heart with song
And let me sing forever more
You are all I long for all I worship and adore
In other words: Please be true!
In other words: I love you!
In other words: Please be true!
In other words: I love you!
歌手: 宇多田光
PS. I had heard numerous versions of the song, but 宇多田光 still somehow manage to put her own brand of R&B into it...
