It is hard kicking an addiction. Especially when some health experts say keeping it at minimal, is actually good for your body. And without it, you can feel lethargic, breathless and even less confident. So I come to the conclusion that some addictions are alright, as long as they don't overwhelm you to the extent that you can't function as a normal human being. Then it all comes down to what consitutes a normal human being. Definitely he is one with flaws - that is how we are distinct from each other to ensure our species continues. And that is what makes life interestng: each of us having different strengths and weaknesses. As if life, in its very nature, ensures that we don't stop workng to improve ourselves, mentally and physically.
On a more personal note, I reduced the frequency of my addiction to once per week. And this is just the beginning. The challenge or the struggle, depending on how you look at it, is on sticking to it, at the very least.
