Back to Normalcy

I think that I have to get my mind off the politics at the office and around me, with the election filling the space in social media almost completely.

I have gone back to swimming, twice last week, and once this week so far, and I enjoyed them even more. I have picked up a new little hobby: taking pictures, with my handphone camera, of nature, like butterflies, birds and insects. Like poetry, nature is like a cheat code: it makes your pictures beautiful, despite mediocre skill or zero experience. And the runs I took at Toa Payoh Stadium were great. Before I started my first run, I realised the cubicles for shower are off limits, the doors sealed with tapes. After my run, I took pleasure when someone has stolen in before me to tear off the tapes, and I too stole a little shower. The following runs were a lot less dramatic, when the nearby SAFRA club provided an option. 

And I found how I missed my drink from Boost Juice Bar...
