Some Poems

Can It?

Can it be
touched,
this heart?
With fire
without ash,
glow without
heat in the midst
of coldest winter?

Hush

Hush, the quickening beats
On my heart-drum,
The breath-stealing run
Of my eyes over your body
To the mind behind eyes
Flicking ever so slightly,
Blocking suns, seas, moons,
Straight to my heart's depth
Silence breaking silence.
