reality (noun)

reality (noun): the state or quality of being real

Reality is, as always, as we know it, but simply refuse to meet it face to face, to see eye to eye with it. There is a mug on the table, just a common coffee mug. But we want, or need, to think there is more to it. Then, it becomes more to it. Life, as we live it, is never in line with reality. Of course, from time to time, we are reminded of the cruelty of this contradiction, and are blown to pieces. You step out of line, you either fly or die, wings sprung.
