Moon Face
I once secretly laughed
at the moon face,
how she smiles
without her lips.
Now I know
how silly I was,
for the moon
needs no lips
to spread her
romantic notions,
needs no eyes
to watch over me,
neither does she
need ears to hear
my laughs.
