Sleep
A tail slithers off last night bed,
As the ancient rays hunt its escape,
In a primitive play of hide-and-seek,
Into shadow and light of its ashen cage.
P.S.: Have been neglecting my blog. Far too busy preparing for SAFRA Half-Marathon, and am currently engaged in a marathon of another sort: Japanese Film Festival 2010. "Sleep" is a slightly redrafted version of an earlier work "Awake".
