Calm, I Plead...

It's sad, either way you see it, for the recent unfavourable glare of the local media on City Harvest Church and its founders must have hurt its worshippers. It's difficult for a non-religious man like me to understand the unshakeable trust in their pastor. But what if at the end, it comes to nothing but blind faith? I hate to think that way. What I do understand about religion, or a person's faith, is that it simply can't be explained rationally, or with logic. Given that, I plead for calm from the church-goers, no matter the outcome.

That's the power (or destructive power) of trust. In general, it can lead to people having irrational belief and expectations.

Waiting to see how the investigations go, I'm not in a position to judge or speculate.

btw, i'm freethinker too.
