What a sucker punch! The Lions were attacking for nearly the whole of 90 minutes, but just couldn't find a way to the back of the net. The Vietnamese keeper even pulled a top-drawer save in the second half, palming a pinpoint header to safety. Still, the Lions's effort, in front of a red sea of almost 55,000 fans, couldn't be faulted. This is just not our year, I guess. The Vietnamese team deserved the win, with a solid back four and a quick counter-attacking game plan, rather like the Greece's winning team of Euro 2004. Best of luck to them in the final!
