Now, as I am watching "Alien: Resurrection" on TV, it intrigues me how we enjoy witnessing fellow humans being mutilated, tormented or executed in various, gruesome manner. And there is always the delicious sense of anticipation in thinking "so, who's next?". I mean, how barbaric and perverted that must be, entertaining yourself watching your own species being annihilated. For all the intelligence that man has, he fails to sympathise with something as natural as death, nor can he comprehend how vulnerable life is.
Death can't be further from the truth, or as a matter of fact, from the core of being human. Yet our culture has chosen to be delusional, to deny its very existence. That's to me, the very sickness of our society.
Soon. Soon, the unethical scientist will meet his well-deserved end. Please, let it not be too quick.
