My Left Foot

I had a fall while dashing across the road, and sprained my left ankle. Such foolishness! Imagine a grown-up man! I had to sit on the kerb for a whole 5 minutes, before limping to the library. I must be getting old; I felt so helpless for that few moments, as if I were all alone in this world.

Fortunately though, the swelling has now subsided.
