My Life - as it is...
We cry as the river flows, when the lead actor kisses his leading lady after much torments and twists in the tale. We laugh at the lame practical jokes, the you-make-me-want-to-puke banters or jousts between the hilarious couple, the mutual denial of love blossoming, then finally, the heartwarming union in a happy-ever-after ending. No, life isn't all that - not a shred in likeness actually. Most of the days, we are engrossed in piles after piles of documents, figures, calls, emails and such - all in a small cell separated by partitions. Exhausted after a long day, you reach home, your parents's eyes on the black box, mouths agape, asking whether you have your dinner. Finally, you get to your room, switch on the fan, driving away the stuffy heat, before hitting the shower. Then it's back to your hideout, the only connection to humans, the outside world: the world wide net. You sit back with empty thoughts; lamenting about squandered youth till the clock strikes midnight, before crawling into bed. Before you know it, you have awaken to a new day, a carbon copy of the one before.
